CIF - Centinela Hospital and The West Coast Sports
Medicine Foundation are the official Health Care and Sports
Medicine Providers for the California Interscholastic Federation
Southern Section .The West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation
is playing an integral part of the safety protocol for the
CIF both on a state and local level. The Sports Medicine Safety
Manual is now under development for use as a resource for
coaches, athletic directors and administrators. At the state
level, safety Bulletins are being developed as a joint venture
of the CIF Safety Committee and the West Coast Sports Medicine
Foundation.

Southern Section - The California Interscholastic
Federation, Southern Section, is a non-profit corporation
organized to direct and administer athletics in secondary
schools within its membership and geographical boundaries.
The Southern Section is one of 10 sections in the state of
California. Not only is the largest in the state (representing
nearly one half of the state's high schools), but it is the
ninth largest association of its type nationally. Each of
the state sections operates independently, but all within
the framework of the state federation.
